WhatsApp Introduces Snapchat-Like Story Feature Called Status
Eight years ago, Brian Acton & Jan Koum founded an app that eventually became WhatsApp. The basic idea was to develop the application that connects the users globally. In the beginning they started with messaging feature. Later it started coming up with new updates.
The Mobile App Development is growing on a rapid scale with every app development company bringing in new and more creative features. Likewise this year on its 8th birthday the popular messaging mobile app users will find a new feature that look like it came from Snapchat. It has announced the reinvention of STATUS feature somewhat similar to Snapchat. It allows you to share photos and videos or animated GIF’s with your friends and contacts on the popular messaging app in easy and encrypted way, which can be disappear after 24 hours same as Snapchat stories.
This momentary status post feature can be edited with emojis, text and also finger drawings. In addition there exists an option for sending status posting to their contact list or specific multiple users as Snapchat does. This is also secured with end to end encryption.
The messaging giant completes its eight years on 24th Feb. This new feature can take them up-to new additional users. Hopefully like previous updates this reinvention can also be effective for users to keep their friends updated.
